What you'll learn

Each CROSS Trainer will be systematically trained in the core competencies of Gospel Health Evangelism which include: Lifestyle Cross Training and Partnering, Personal Evangelism, Plant-Based Cooking/Nutrition and Physical Fitness.

Team members will be trained in each competency in 5-week training modules. Each module will contain the following components:

  • Self-study and classroom instruction
  • Field experience under instructor supervision
  • Training a small team of church members in the competency

The field training school will be overseen by Pastor Phil Mills (Senior Pastor, Lansing SDA Church) and Dr. Kimberly Azelton (Lansing Family and Lifestyle Medicine), and will include an integrated gospel-medical evangelistic series with Chris Holland.

“ The Lansing Seventh day Adventist church will be working in partnership with a Medical Clinic overseen by Dr. Kimberly Azelton, called Lansing Family & Lifestyle Medicine. This will help us meet the physical and spiritual needs of the lansing community! The CROSS trainers will receive training to know how to help patients from the clinic on their life style choices and direct them tho the one who can help them live a WHOLESOME life".
